THE
SIGNS OF THE RETURN OF JESUS
- "Gives
us, oh Creator of all marvels,
oh Healer
of the creature,
eyes to
see, and ears to hear what the Spirit says"
- "Let
anyone who can hear
listen to
what the Spirit is saying to the churches" (Revelation 2,11)
Introduction
Jesus
revealed to us the obvious precursor signs of his Return. The Apostles
delivered us in writing these important prophecies. Luke, in his
Gospel, says about this subject: "These will be days of punishments,
where everything that has been written should come true" (Luke 21,22).
The Gospels
had already been written when Luke wrote these words, but the book of
Revelation not yet. Today we must take into consideration the prophetic
words concerning the Christ's return in the Gospels as well as in the
book of Revelation, this last book being specifically dedicated to the
prophecies concerning Jesus' return. This is why we must be attentive
to the prophetic words therein as advises Peter: "We hold firmer the
prophetic words; you will be right to pay attention to it as to a lamp
that shines in a dark place until the dawn comes and the Morning Star
rises in your hearts" (2 Peter 1,19). The Morning Star is the symbol of
the Messiah, Jesus (Numbers 24,17 / Revelation 2,28 / 22,16). It is in
our hearts that He already returns. Some already recognized Him.
Jesus also
recommends us to keep "our lamps lit" (Luke 12,35), constantly
referring us to the prophetic words in order to recognize the signs of
the time: "When you will see all this, know that He is near, right at
the door " (Matthew 24,33). To disregard the prophecies or not to
recognize their achievement means that one is fatally asleep as the
unwise virgins (Matthew 25). Those who understand the prophecies
realize that Jesus "is at the door", as He had announced it Himself in
Luke 12,36 / Revelation 3,20.
What door
does Jesus speak about? The door of the heart of course!
Why is
Jesus at the door? Because He wants us to open and let Him in.
For what
purpose? Jesus answers Himself: "I will come in to share Supper
with him (or her), Me close to him and him close to Me" (Revelation
3,20).
"Blessed
those servants whom the Master finds awake when He comes! In truth I
tell to you, He will do up his belt, will make them sit at the Table
and, passing from one to another, He will serve them" (Luke 12,35-37).
"Blessed is
the reader and the listeners of these prophetic words if they keep the
content of it because the Time is near", says John (Revelation 1,3).
This time has already come. It was "near" 2000 years ago because, as
Peter explains "With the Lord, a day is like one thousand years and one
thousand years are like one day" (2 Peter 3,8).
The first
Christians used "to study the Scriptures to check whether it (what the
apostles said about Jesus) was true" (Acts 17,11). Let us do the same,
let's examine the Scriptures, and thus remain awake: "You, brothers,
you are not in darkness, so that this day surprises you like a thief.
You are children of light, of the day. We are not of the night, of
darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as do others, but let us stay
wide awake and sober " (1 Thessalonians 5,4-7). To remain awake, we
must consult the Holy Scriptures.
Let us
realize that Jesus is already here, at the door of our heart. Let us
open to Him.
The main
prophetic signs of His presence are the following:
1. The
appearance of the Antichrist: Israel
Matthew
24,4-5: "Many will say: I am the Christ... " (the Zionist Messiah: in
Israel many pretend today that the Zionist Messiah is at the door, even
already here; they pretended he was Menahem Beghin, then Ariel Sharon
or other Rabbis)
Matthew
24,23-25: " False christs and false prophets will arise."
Mark 13,5 /
21-22 / Luke 21,8: "Many will come using my name and say: I am He (the
Messiah) ".
The
characteristic of the Antichrist:: he denies that Jesus is the Christ.
(1 John 2,18-22 / 1 John 4,2-3 / 2 John 7-11). The demons are therefore
not the Antichrist because they do not deny it. On the contrary, they
confess it (Matthew 8,29 / Mark 1,34 / Luke 4,41).
Paul
announced the coming of the Antichrist whom he qualified as: "the
apostasy, the Impious man, the Lost One, the Adversary, the mystery of
Impiety" (2 Thessalonians 2,2-9).
The book of
Revelation announced the apparition of "the Beast" (Rev 13 & 17).
This is the Antichrist.
The Virgin,
in La Salette (1846), announced the appearance of the Antichrist in the
near future.
2.
Appearance of the false prophets [Return]
These false
prophets speak in favor of Israel, the Antichrist:
- Matthew
24,11: "Many false prophets will arise; they will deceive many..." (The
abuse is made by the medias etc.).
- Matthew
24,24-25: "Of the false christs and the false prophets that will
produce some prodigies... So warned you" (The military prodigies of
Israel).
-Matthew
7,15-20 : "They come disguised as sheep" (Hitler's holocaust:
Revelation 13,3).
-Mark 13,22
: "False christs and false prophets will arise... I fully warned you."
The book of
Revelation designates these false prophets as "The false prophet" (Rev
19,20 / 20,10) and "the other Beast" (Rev 13,11) or "the ten kings"
(Rev 17,12), at the service of "the Beast" who is the Antichrist (Rev
13,12 / 17,13 / 19,20).
What are
the prodigies that the Antichrist will accomplish with the help of the
false prophet? - The "miraculous" return of the state of Israel and its
stupendous victories thanks to the American support at its service:
"The demons of the air (aviation) will make big prodigies with the
Antichrist on earth and in the air", said the Virgin in La Salette (see
our text "La Salette").
What
methods do the Antichrist and the false prophet use to seduce? - The
"pernicious sects that disown the Lord (Jesus) "(2 Peter 2,1-3), the
mocking against faith (2 Peter 3,3-7), arrogance, rudeness,
irreligiousness etc (2 Timothy 3,1-5).
There will
be false perspectives of peace (1 Thessalonians 5,1-3). In La Salette,
Mary also spoke of a "false peace" (see our text "La Salette").
3. Wars,
nations against nations
Matthew
24,6-7 & 24,21 / Mark 13,7-8 / Luke 21,9-10.
4.
Famines
Matthew
24,7 / Mark 13,8 / Luke 21,11: Pestilences and famines.
5.
Earthquakes [Return]
Matthew
24,7 / Mark 13,8 / Luke 21,11: "... great earthquakes."
6.
Treasons
Matthew
24,10-13 : "Many will fall away, people will betray one another and
hate one another... with the increase of iniquity, love in most people
will grow cold". We notice that love for God and for spirituality grew
cold with the increase of modern iniquity and perversity. This is why
Jesus asked: "When the Son of Man comes, will He find any faith on
earth"? (Luke 18,8).
In La
Salette, the Virgin said: "Rome will lose faith and will become the
seat of the Antichrist." Rome, the Vatican, has already lost the
authentic faith.
7.
Universal propagation of the Gospel [Return]
Matthew
24,14 / Mark 13,10.
The Gospel
is translated into more than 3 000 languages. It is already spread all
over the world.
8. Signs
in the sky
Luke 21,11
: "... there will be terrifying events and great signs in the sky (the
planes, the satellites) ". Luke 21,25-27: "... men will faint away with
terror and fear at what menaces the world (nuclear war)... And then
they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud... " (to see 2 Peter
3,10-13).
The planes
("the locusts" of Revelation 9,1-11) and the conquest of the space are
great signs in the sky, and the nuclear threat frightens men to death.
There are
also visible signs in the spiritual sky:
a)
Mary's apparitions:
Mary's
apparitions were predicted by St. John in the book of Revelation: "A
great Sign appeared in the sky: It is a Woman!" (Rev 12,1-2). This
marvelous sign appeared:
- In La
Salette (1846), where Mary denounced the clerical treason and the
future coming of the Antichrist, the Beast of the book of Revelation.
She announced punishments that will be followed by the renewal of all
things.
- In
Lourdes (1858), Mary revealed that She is "the Immaculate Conception".
- In Fatima
(1917), She repeated the message of La Salette in brief and revealed a
secret: the identity of the Antichrist. This identity has never been
revealed by the popes, this is a sign of the treason of the Vatican
predicted by the Gospel and by Mary in La Salette.
b) The
arrival of the announced Messenger of the apocalypse: he already
appeared after 2 000 years, coming "from the East" (Rev 7,2).
c) The
opening of the Book of Revelation: This Messenger came with the
"small Book" open (Rev 10,2) to seal the "Apostles of the end of time"
(Rev 7,2-3). These apostles "must prophesy again against a crowd of
peoples, nations, languages and kings" (Rev 10,11).
9. The
Biggest distress of all time [Return]
Matthew
24,21 / Mark 13,19-20 / Rev 7,14 / 16,18-21 / Daniel 12,1.
10.
Spiritual darkness
Matthew
13,24-25 / Matthew 24,29: "Sun and moon darkened" (Rev 6,12).
Luke
21,26-34: "Debauchery, drunkenness, worries of life" (2 Timothy 3,1-5).
The sun and
the moon which darken symbolize the spiritual darkness due to apostasy
and immorality etc.:
Matthew
24,29: "... the powers of heaven (spiritual powers) will be shaken."
Matthew
24,37-39 / Luke 17,26-30: "... as in the days of Noah and Sodom."
Revelation
13,5-6: The Beast has the power to utter words of pride and blasphemy
against God and the saints and to triumph.
1
Thessalonians 5,1-8: Difference between sons of light and sons of
darkness.
11.
Jerusalem[Return]
The
prophecies attract our attention on what must happen in the Holy Land,
and especially in Jerusalem at the end of the time of the Antichrist:
Matthew
24,15-16: "The abomination of the desolation in the Holy Land... in
Judea. It is then that some will say: 'Here is the Christ or there He
it'" (Matthew 24,23-24). The Israelis believed that some of their
military, political or religious chiefs were the Messiah.
Daniel
spoke of the abomination of the desolation (Daniel 9,27 / 12,11) but it
was revealed to him that "these words are closed and sealed until the
time of the End" (Daniel 12,4 & 9).
Mark 13,14:
"The abomination of the desolation where it should not be... in Judea."
Luke
21,21-24: "When you will see Jerusalem invested by the armies (the
Israeli army and settlements)... ".
Revelation
11,2: "... they will trample the Holy City (Jerusalem).. ".
Revelation
11,8: "... where their Lord was also crucified (Jerusalem)".
Revelation
20,9: "... they invested the camp of the saints, the beloved City
(Jerusalem)".
12. The
Light comes back from the East [Return]
Matthew
24,27-28: "... like lightning coming from the East and shining far into
the West"
Revelation
7,2: The angel comes from the East.
The Song of
Songs 4,8: "Come from Lebanon (East) my beloved... "
Isaiah
29,17-18: "Lebanon will become a productive ground... That day the deaf
will hear words of the Book... (the book of Revelation) ".
Ezekiel
17,22-24 : "A branch of the cedar (symbol of Lebanon) planted by God on
the high mountain of Israel, will become a magnificent cedar tree to
shelter the birds...".
At the end
time
, the light
comes from the East by the book of Revelation revealed by Jesus in
Lebanon on May 13th, 1970.
13. The
Apocalyptic Messenger [Return]
Revelation
7,2-3 : He comes "from the East carrying the seal of the living God to
mark God's servants on their foreheads before harm is done to the
earth".
Revelation
10,1-11: He is "powerful" and comes down from Heaven "wrapped in cloud,
with a rainbow over his head". The rainbow is the sign that he detains
the alliance of the priesthood founded by Jesus. He holds "in his hand
a small Book (of Revelation) open (revealed). He must "shout a powerful
clamor" (after the fall of the Beast) and "must prophesy, again,
against a crowd of peoples, nations, languages and kings."
Revelation
8,3-5: He offers "upon the golden altar the prayers of all
saints" slaughtered by the Beast "underneath the altar for the
Word of God and for witnessing to it..." (Rev 6,9-11).
"He fills
his shovel of the fire of the altar that he throws on earth". This
means that he prays God to make justice quickly by intervening against
the Beast and its allies. In Rev 14,18, the angel "who has power over
fire (God's anger)" is the same mentioned in Rev 8,5.
Revelation
19,17-21: He must invite "all birds in the sky to rally God's great
feast and eat the flesh of kings etc... ". This means that he has to
incite the believers to fight against the Beast and its allies by
prayers, by testimony and by arms if necessary.
Revelation
22,10: He must reveal "the secret prophetic words of the Book of
Revelation because the time is near". This time arrived.
Revelation
22,16: He is sent by Jesus Himself: "I, Jesus, have sent my Angel to
declare these revelations to you concerning the Churches."
Revelation
19,10: Jesus' messenger must impose the humility which is not practiced
by the clergies: "I prostrated to his feet to adore him, but he said to
me: no, do not do that, I am a servant like you and your brothers who
possess Jesus' testimony. It is God whom you must adore". He must also
explain that "Jesus' testimony is also the Spirit of prophecy", which
means that the faithful believer must "prophesy, again, against a crowd
of peoples..." (Rev 10,11). This prophecy is the specific testimony
against the Beast and its allies and announces their final destruction,
a testimony that the Christian clergy fears to proclaim.
Matthew
25,6: He is the one who awakes the sleeping virgins, "the scream of
midnight: Here is the Bridegroom (return of Jesus)".
14. The
Apostles of the Christ's Return [Return]
Jesus
announced to his first Apostles that He would send, at the end of time,
his Apostles of the end of time: "He will send his angels (his
apostles) with a loud trumpet (the apocalyptic trumpet) to gather his
elect from the four winds" (Matthew 24,31 / Mark 13,27).
Matthew
13,40-43: "... at the end of time, the Son of Man will send his angels
who will gather out of his Kingdom all scandals..." (See Rev 21,8 /
22,14-15).
Speaking of
"his angels" to his first Apostles, it is clear that Jesus did not
intend them, but other Apostles He will send in the future, at the end
of time. These will be chosen, marked, by God's seal that only the
apocalyptic Messenger detains (Rev 7,2). It is he who marks the elect
by the "small opened" Book (Rev 10,2).
The Virgin
spoke of these Apostles of the end of Time in La Salette.
Commentary
[Return]
Jesus comes
back "on the clouds of Heaven", that means in the soul of his elect
(Matthew 24,30 / Mark 13,26 / Luke 21,27 / Rev 1,7 / Daniel 7,13). All
is inside, within the hearts and minds of the believers. Some already
saw Him (John 14,7) because He will only appear "to those who are
waiting for Him" (Hebrews 9,28). This vision will be obvious and
general after the fall of the Beast when "every eye shall see Him, even
those who have pierced Him" (Rev 1,7).
Luke 21,15:
Jesus will give to his Apostles of the end of Verdana, Arial,
Helvetica, sans-serif "an eloquence and a wisdom that none of your
opponents will be able to resist or contradict". This wisdom is the
coherent, obvious and irrefutable interpretation of the prophecies of
the end of time, particularly those of the book of Revelation.
Conclusion
And you,
did you see all these events come true? "When you will see all these
things, realize that He is at the doors", at your door, and desires to
enter to dine with you intimately (Luke 12,36-37 / Rev 3,20).
The
Apostles asked Jesus where the events of the end of time were to take
place. He answered: "Where will be the body, there the vultures will
also assemble" (Luke 17,37). The Christ's Body is today in the homes of
the apocalyptic families, those who have the courage, the intelligence
and the sharpness of mind to "calculate the number of the Beast" and to
recognize its identity. Thus, they will be able to have the strength to
answer without shame, to the invitation to the wedding of the Lamb
(Luke 21,36). They will enter the wedding holding their heads high,
because of their testimony and resistance to the Beast and his allies.
To hear the
angel's call to combat one must be able to "come up here in order to
see what is to take place in the future", what is now, actually, taking
place (Rev 4,1). Blessed are those who hear the host of the wedding
telling them: "My friend, move up higher. They will be honored in front
of all the others guests" (Luke 14,10). Because Jesus, by his Angel,
opens a new door (Rev 3,8). Blessed are those who will succeed in
entering through it although this door appears narrow, being spiritual
and interior and one can only pass through it by the testimony of Jesus
(Rev 4,1).
Today,
Jesus wants the Independent Believers, free of all traitorous and
impious clergy. His apocalyptic "Angel" is sent to free those who have
eyes to see and "ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the
Churches" (Rev 2,11).
