JESUS RESTORES THE PRIESTHOOD

Christians recur to priests in order to feed themselves with Jesus' Body and Blood. In these apocalyptic times, Jesus comes back to restore everything. He institutes, in our times, an independent priesthood, accessible to men and women who believe in the apocalyptic message, revealed by Jesus Himself on the 13th of May 1970. In our apocalyptic times, it is Jesus Himself who chooses His new priests:

"He (Jesus) loves us and has washed away our sins with His Blood, and made us a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father" (Revelation 1,5).

"You (Jesus) are worthy to take the Scroll (the book Revelation) and to break its seals, because you were sacrificed, and with your blood you bought for God people of every race, language, people and nation and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world" (Revelation 5,9).

This priesthood is open to every man and woman, listening to Jesus knocking at their heart door: "Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me calling and opens the door, I will come in to share a meal at that person's side" (Rev 3,20).

Jesus, in the Gospel, had already announced that, at His return, He will come in and "sit down at the table" with the ones opening the door to Him: "Be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding feast, ready to open the door as soon as he comes … in truth I tell you, he will do up his belt sit them down at table and wait on them" (Luke 12,36-37).

"To share a meal" and "sit down at table" mean the Mystic Meal of Jesus' Body and Blood. In this New Time, this Meal is taken no more exclusively into the religious buildings, but in the families of those who become priests by spontaneously opening their doors to Christ "as soon as He knocks".

Of course, this new priesthood is not accepted by the traditional priests!

Jesus, and Him only, has the power to change the bread and the wine into His Body and His Blood. No man has this power, not even the traditional priest. This latter, actually, is nothing but an instrument of Christ. It is Jesus, who, through the priest, makes Himself present in the bread and in the wine changed, by His Power, into His divine Body and Blood. Now, what Christ can do through the priests -often unworthy-, He can also do through the apocalyptic priests, men or women, of His choice. The only condition is to have faith and to do that with love.

The first Christians already shared, in the intimacy of the family, Jesus' Meal, with simplicity, as Jesus had instituted it, without rites, without ceremonies, with great love: "Each day, with one heart … they broke the bread (Christ's Body) in their houses, they shared the Food (Christ's Body and Blood) joyfully and generously" (Acts 2,46).

Through the centuries, the different Christian confessions have unfortunately complicated these simple practices, instituting rules, conditions, rites, cults with sacerdotal clothes opposed to the Spirit of Christ. It is the moment for Jesus to restore everything (see our text "The Universal Restoration"):

Jesus already desires ardently to share this Meal with us, as He had done in the past with His apostles. He told them: "I have ardently desired to eat this Passover with you" (Luke 22,15). With this meal, Jesus re-establish and reinforces an intimate, interior, relationship with His new priests: "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my Blood lives in Me and I live in that person (him or her)" (John 6,56).

It is left to everyone to choose, in complete freedom and responsibility, whether to answer or not to this last divine invitation: "Everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the Bread and drink from the Cup; because a person who eats and drinks without recognising the Body is eating and drinking his own condemnation" (1 Corinthians 11,28-29).

With this direct link to Him, Jesus makes us independent believers and priests. He frees us even from the clerical chains that keep us far away from Him.

What must be done to take this spiritual Meal with Jesus?

Jesus asks us to do what He Himself had done during the last Easter Meal with His apostles, repeating the words He had pronounced.

He took some bread, brought it to them saying : "Take it and eat, this is my Body offered for many for the forgiveness of sins".

Then He took a cup of wine, brought it to them saying : "Drink from this, all of you, for this is my Blood, the Blood of the Covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in remembrance of me" (Matthew 26,26-28 / Luke 22,19-20 / Mark 14,22-24 / 1 Corinthians 11, 23-26).

The essential words are in bold.

We share this Heavenly Table of the Lamb's Wedding Feast (Matthew 22,1-14) every day in the following way:

Gathered round a table, we put a piece of bread per person on a plate and a little bit of wine into a cup. We keep them for this purpose. We pray the "Our Father" and we honour the Virgin Mary with the angel's "Hail Mary" (Luke 1,26-38). We read a text of the Holy Scriptures in a regular way. We make an effort to be conscious of what we are doing. Where there is no wine, it can be replaced by a fruit juice -grape juice for example- or even just water. The important factor is not the material substance, but the Spirit).

We are together with Our Heavenly Father, with the Messiah and with all of our heavenly and earthly family, then we pronounce the words written above. We take the Body and the Blood of Jesus with Love and emotion, passing each other the plate and the cup. We take the cup with care and we rinse it with some water, which one of us will drink afterwards.

Then we dry the cup with a special napkin (to be washed when necessary).

Finally we thank God for this holy daily gift by which we receive the Holy Spirit.

We pray our heavenly Father to protect us and to keep us united in His love and at His service, in order to spread His Light and to blaze up the hearts of those who want to know Him. We pray for all those who are persecuted for the sake of justice. Each one is free to pray for one's own spiritual necessities, for the sanctification of one's self and of the others, for the dead, etc…

The Divine Koran does not fail to signal the spiritual importance of this "Table" that comes down from Heaven (see our text "Look of faith at the Koran", chapter III, The Heavenly Table).

A good thing to practice during the day is to desire a spiritual union with Jesus' Body and Blood.

Day by day, with love and through meditation, our soul quenches its thirst with this source of Divine Life:

"Let all those who are thirsty come close

and let all men of desire receive

the Water of Life freely" (Rev 22,17).

Prayer of the monk Hermann Cohen

" May the divine Eucharist be your light, your heat, your strength and your life!

I would so much like you to live by the Eucharist so that all your thoughts, affections, words and actions would be inspired by It ".

" Jesus Christ today is the divine Eucharist… today I am weak, I need a strength that comes from above to support me, and Jesus comes down from Heaven and becomes Eucharist, this is the Bread of the strong.

Today I am poor… I need a shelter to take cover, and Jesus makes Himself a home… He is God's home, He is the gate of Heaven, He is the Eucharist…

Today I am hungry and thirsty, I need food to satiate my spirit and my heart, a beverage to quench my ardor, and Jesus makes Himself wheat, makes Himself wine of the Eucharist…

Today I am sick… I need a beneficent balm to dress wounds of my soul, and Jesus spreads like a precious ointment on my soul while giving Himself to me in the Eucharist…

I am discouraged, He raises me; I am saddened, He rejoices me; I am lonely, He comes to stay with me until the consumption of centuries; I am in ignorance, He instructs me and enlightens me; I am cold, He warms me of a penetrating fire, but above all that, I need love and no love on earth had satisfied my heart, and it is thaen that He becomes Eucharist. And He loves me, and His love satiates me, fills me up and makess me dive in an ocean of charity. Yes, I love Jesus, I love the Eucharist. Jesus, Jesus today, is Jesus with me… This morning, at the altar, He came, He gave Himself, I have Him, I hold Him, I adore Him. He has incarnated Himself in my hands… He is my Emmanuel, He is my love, He is my Eucharist".

Hermann Cohen

This prayer has been translated from the French book: "L'etonnant secret des Ames du Purgatoire"

(The astonishing secret of Souls of the Purgatory) by Sister Emmanuel Maria Simma, Published by "Editions des Béatitudes", 1998:

" I would hereby like to give the testimony of Hermann Cohen, a Jewish artist converted to Catholicism, who deeply venerated the Eucharis.

It happened in 1864. He had left the world, had gone in a very austere religious order and adored very frequently the Holy Sacrament for which he had a big veneration.

During his worships he implored the Lord to convert his mother whom he loved a lot.

But his mother died without being converted. Hermann became mad of pain because of this. He prostrated before the Holy Sacrament and, giving free course to his complaints, prayed thus: "Lord, it is true that I owe you all, but what did I refuse you? My youth, my expectations in the world, the well-being, the family's joys, aprobable legitimate rest? I sacrificed everything as soon as you called me. My blood? I would have given it just the same; and You Lord, You Eternal Goodness who promised to return to the hundredfold, you refused me my mother's soul... My God, I succumb to this martyr, the whisper is going to exhale of my lips ". Sobs stifled this poor heart. All of a sudden, a mysterious voice struck his ear and says: " Man of little faith, your mother is saved, know that your prayers have absolute power beside me. I received all the prayers you addressed to me for your mother and my Providence took account of it at her last hour. As she expired, I presented myself to her, she saw me and exclaimed: " My Lord and my God "! Raise up therefore your courage, your mother avoided the damnation and your fervent supplications will soon deliver her soul of the jail of the purgatory ".

A very short time after, father Hermann Cohen learned by a second apparition that his mother was on her way up to Heaven ".
